POSITION OVERVIEW

This role involves the application of advanced technical products within specialized sectors, facilitating the sales of tailored lubricants and solutions. The focus is on delivering enhanced efficiency, bolstering reliability, and ensuring a robust customer-supplier relationship. This position requires the management of products from initial design through to final offering, coupled with essential technical support for clients, necessitating a blend of interdisciplinary skills and engineering expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This customer-centric technical role is pivotal in providing exceptional engineering and product support. Regular collaboration with the commercial sales team is essential to maintain our competitive edge. The company is committed to offering state-of-the-art product technology and reliability-centered maintenance, while continuously reviewing best practice principles. The goal is to enhance customer product quality by optimizing overall asset reliability through the latest value-added services and product innovations.

The successful candidate will join the Central Technical Department, which comprises mechanical engineers, chemists, and application specialists. This role will also involve close cooperation with the Industrial team, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Research & Development.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Chemist, or Applications Engineer (or equivalent experience) with a solid foundation in industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more sectors such as metalworking, oil and gas, sustainable energy, mineral extraction and processing, paper manufacturing, and food/beverage.
  • Experience in a customer-facing engineering capacity is advantageous.
