About the Role:

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join a high-tech company in the electronics industry. As a key member of the design team, you will play a crucial role in improving design methods and collaborating with various departments to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, including PCB layout and schematic capture, for system on chip based systems.
  • Work on microcontroller based systems, utilizing STM32 or similar technologies.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to enhance design processes and ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create and implement efficient design methods.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive commercial experience in electronic design, with a focus on PCB design and development.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, such as Altium.
  • Familiarity with CAN bus protocol, EMC compliance, and electronics workbench software.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analogue design principles.
