Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at RIBBONS AND REEVES. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and pupils with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons to pupils with SEN.
- Assist pupils with their learning and behavior, providing individualized support as needed.
- Help to prepare and implement lesson plans, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEN.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with SEN.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2.1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
- Prior experience working with children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
