Augusta & Co, a leading independent specialist financial advisory and investment firm, is seeking a Junior Asset Manager to join its rapidly growing infrastructure private equity division, Augusta Investment Management (AIM).
Role OverviewAs a key member of the Asset Management team, the Junior Asset Manager will work under the guidance of the Senior Asset Manager to:
- Manage projects from closing to their operational phase;
- Ensure AIM meets its obligations to investors, lenders, and project partners;
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including project company boards, auditors, regulators, and utilities;
- Evaluate exit strategies and asset optimization opportunities;
- Develop and maintain asset management best practices.
The Junior Asset Manager will be responsible for:
- Routine liquidity and performance monitoring, including bi-monthly cash flow analysis and invoice processing;
- Preparing quarterly valuations using an existing financial model;
- Providing performance and risk updates to boards and lenders;
- Semi-annual debt repayment analysis to lenders;
- Coordinating distributions to investors;
- Assisting the Senior Asset Manager with third-party service provider management;
- Developing a comprehensive asset management handbook.
Candidates should possess:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting, consulting, or project finance;
- Financial literacy and familiarity with company accounting processes;
- Experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex topics simply;
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment;
- Fluency in English is essential; another European language is preferred.
