Job Summary

Velocity Recruitment is seeking a skilled Solar Field Service Engineer to join our client's Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar farms across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical components, inverters, and modules to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide electrical maintenance services for a portfolio of solar farms, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures, actively participating in risk assessments and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Electrically competent with a recognized electrical qualification, such as City and Guilds (16th Edition), being an advantage.
  • Industrial PV installation/maintenance experience is desirable, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Clean, full driving license, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
