Technology Strategy Consultant

A leading IT consultancy is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant with expertise in technology strategy and performance to join their growing Business Technology practice.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and intellectually curious problem solver to join our IT Performance team, dedicated to helping clients make strategic decisions, develop technological capabilities, and realise their digital transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Define inventive technology strategies and transformation roadmaps that enable business ambitions and establish the right initiatives, capabilities, and processes to sustain a competitive advantage.
- Design and implement future-proof IT operating models that deliver impactful technology strategies and enable business agility and future innovation, covering all aspects of people, processes, and technology.
- Develop frameworks for understanding and managing the total cost of ownership of technology solutions, performing technology due diligence, integration planning, risk mitigation, and synergy identification for M&A transactions and the delivery of large-scale post-merger integration/cut-out programs.
- Contribute to business and personal growth through activities such as business development, learning and development, and leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, and client hosting at events.
- Experience in leading and supporting sales efforts, structuring deals and engagement commercials, and achieving sales targets of at least £500k (Managing Consultant) / £1m (Senior Manager) per annum.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude to building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, delivering and leading successful large-scale, complex IT transformation delivery engagements, driving positive outcomes, and developing opportunities to deliver follow-on work.
