Senior Mental Health Nurse/Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled mental health professional to join our Cove Ward team at Longreach. As a Developmental Senior Mental Health Nurse/Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.
Main ResponsibilitiesThis role focuses on clinical leadership and developing and maintaining high-quality care within a ward environment. You will support and mentor learners, provide supervision to others, and deliver high levels of clinical care. Working alongside senior staff nurses, you will act as an experienced role model and leader to junior colleagues, developing leadership and managerial skills and enhancing your career in mental health.

Requirements- Current professional registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Professional qualification in RRM or RNLD
- Some knowledge of current legislation, national policies, and guidance relevant to people with a mental health diagnosis
- Able to contribute to training offered to carers, family, and other professionals and colleagues
