This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with children diagnosed with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN), or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
As a SEN Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to students, helping them thrive both socially and academically.
  • Encourage and facilitate the student’s progress towards becoming confident and independent learners.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.

If you have experience with children facing challenges such as Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), we are eager to connect you with suitable opportunities.

All candidates must possess an up-to-date DBS check, and we can assist you in obtaining this if necessary. Additionally, an Overseas Police Check (OSPC) is required for those who have worked abroad for over six months in the past five years.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting SEN students as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
  • A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance.
  • A valid Child and Adult DBS.
  • Experience working with children with Autism.
