Transport Planning Associate Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Transport Planner to join our thriving and expanding transport planning team in London. As an Associate or Associate Director Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the management and delivery of large, complex projects, driving the strategic growth of the team, overseeing client relationships, and providing technical leadership on a diverse range of transport planning projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale transport planning projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and time constraints.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for transport planning matters.
- Strategic Direction: Help shape the strategic direction of the transport planning team and drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding the client base.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and external consultants to deliver integrated transport and infrastructure solutions across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and public infrastructure.
- Compliance: Oversee the preparation of transport assessments, feasibility studies, and planning reports, ensuring that all work adheres to regulatory standards and planning requirements.
- Innovation: Bring fresh, innovative ideas to transport planning challenges, incorporating the latest industry trends and design techniques to deliver optimal solutions.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years as a Transport Planner, with experience managing large-scale projects in either the public or private sector.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using transport planning software, such as TEMPro, ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRICS, and Excel.
- Education: A Master's degree in Transport Planning or a related field is desirable.
- Driving Licence: A full, clean driving licence is required.
