Job Title: Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team at Senitor Associates. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality mobile applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient mobile applications using Android SDK and Java/Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Android development best practices, including UI/UX design, performance optimization, and security.
  • Work closely with our QA team to ensure that applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and tools to continuously improve our development processes and deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Android development with a strong focus on mobile application development.
  • Proficiency in Java/Kotlin programming languages and Android SDK.
  • Experience with Progressive Web App (PWA) development and.Net development using C#.
  • Knowledge of UI development using MVC and Web Forms, API design and development, database development techniques, and OOP best practices.
  • Experience with source control packages such as DevOps, Git, or Team Foundation.
  • Knowledge of writing unit tests and other forms of testing.
  • SQL (DDL, DQL, and DML) skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Azure and CI/CD via Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework Core and Web Servers (IIS) and Windows Server.
  • Experience with DevExpress components and Android Studio development using Java or Kotlin.
  • SQL Lite and ROOM database knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Android best practice and design principles.
  • Experience with deploying Apps to Google Managed Play Store and Microsoft InTune.
