Senior Python Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at Opus Recruitment Solutions. As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a key role in building and deploying APIs, designing and developing ETL pipelines using Python and AWS services, and helping to prioritize our backlog with a balance between short-term deliverables and longer-term investment in our technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL pipelines using Python and AWS services
  • Build and deploy APIs
  • Help prioritize our backlog with a balance between short-term deliverables and longer-term investment in our technology
  • Work autonomously on projects from start to finish, and be responsible for the code you write
Requirements:
  • Experience with AWS: ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/SQS
  • Strong testing practices, especially Test Driven Development
  • The ability to work in a highly agile environment, using CI/CD practices
  • A knack for identifying good UX
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication
