About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries or neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with residents, promoting open and two-way communication
  • Support residents to undertake their rehabilitation programme, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary therapists
  • Establish effective methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers through innovative and adaptable practice
  • Assist residents with their hydration and nutritional needs, maintaining their physical health
  • Support with activities of daily living and personal care, respecting residents' choice and dignity
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, families, and other professionals
  • Accurately report and record care provided

Requirements
  • A genuine interest in providing person-centred care
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience working within the care sector or mental health would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
