Teaching Assistant - SEND Provision

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs in a SEND provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Children with SEN: Provide individualized support to children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible education.
  • Collaboration with Teachers and Support Staff: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support children with SEN.
  • Engaging with Children: Build positive relationships with children, engaging them in their learning and providing a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Experience Working with Children with ASD, ADHD, and PMLD: Utilize your experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities to provide tailored support.
  • Child Workforce DBS: Hold a valid Child Workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one, ensuring you meet the necessary safeguarding requirements.
