About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized GP Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Connaught Square Practice. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our GPs and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience
- Managing patient queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Booking, cancelling, and amending appointments on SystmOne
- Monitoring patient flow and ensuring efficient use of time
- Providing administrative support to the Practice team, including data entry and record-keeping
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Charging patients for private work and providing receipts
- Processing repeat prescriptions and monitoring patient medication
- Alerting the Practice Manager to any concerns or issues
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and have strong organizational skills
- Interest in working with people and in service of patients
- Ability to work independently and have self-motivation
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
