The Branded Business Unit (BBU) plays a pivotal role within William Grant & Sons, focusing on the strategic development, expansion, and distribution of our esteemed brands to a global clientele. This position entails collaborating closely with the international marketing teams for our non-scotch offerings to meet both financial and branding goals.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist the Finance Manager for Irish Brands by delivering precise and timely monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and commercial insights to facilitate informed business decisions. You will also contribute to the establishment and execution of financial protocols and controls. As a vital partner to the global marketing team, you will provide essential financial support, analysis, and insights regarding new product initiatives.
Success in this position hinges on your ability to cultivate strong relationships with the global marketing team, visitor center personnel, group finance, and marketing finance, ensuring that Irish Brands consistently delivers high-quality financial analysis and commentary.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. A meticulous attention to detail, data accuracy, and integrity is crucial. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines, demonstrating a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a willingness to propose and implement innovative methods to enhance operational efficiency.
