About the Role

Silver Arrow Perm is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class One Driver to join our team. This role involves container transportation, primarily operating within dock environments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Transporting containers between designated locations.
  • Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle.

Shift Pattern:

This is an ad-hoc position offering both day and night shifts, Monday to Friday.

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday Days (PAYE): £15.02 per hour, (LTD): £17.00 per hour.
  • Monday to Friday Nights (PAYE): £16.25 per hour, (LTD): £18.50 per hour.
  • Minimum 10 hours pay guaranteed.
  • Paid break included.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class One Licence.
  • In-date CPC and Digi-Tachograph Card.
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence, with no IN, DD or DR penalty codes.
  • Minimum 2 years of HGV driving experience.
  • Container handling experience is essential.
  • A Peel Ports Dock Card is required (can be purchased).
