Job Title: Trade Counter Sales Representative

Join Adecco, a leading recruitment agency, in our exciting opportunity for a Trade Counter Sales Representative to support our client's door hardware brands.

About the Role

As a Trade Counter Sales Representative, you will be the bridge between our customers and our trade counters depot, selling spares to architectural ironmongers and end-users. You will visit existing and potential customers to discuss projects, identify opportunities, and promote new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the trade counters depot
  • Visit customers to discuss projects, identify opportunities, and promote new products
  • Stay up-to-date with product trends, technical specifications, and changes in legislation
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with customers
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets
  • Keep the office informed about industry updates and market developments
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a business-to-business sales role promoting technical products (construction or facilities industry experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term, consultative sales relationships
  • Strong self-management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK, manual driver's licence with no more than three penalty points
