Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at B&M Care Homes. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our care home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate the cleaning of the building, including auditing cleanliness standards and ensuring compliance with schedules.
  • Laundry Management: Efficiently manage the laundering of clothing and linen, ensuring a regular supply of detergent and cleaning materials.
  • Room Supervision: Supervise all allocated rooms, including furniture, fittings, fabrics, carpets, and equipment, to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Sanitary Equipment Cleaning: Supervise the cleaning of sanitary and other equipment in line with infection control policies.
  • Admission Support: Assist in the completion of the full property list on the admission of new clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
