Weekly Commitment - hours

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure timely processing of incoming referrals in accordance with established training and within specified timeframes.

- Provide assistance to patients, healthcare providers, and community health organizations regarding referral processes.

- Develop and apply a comprehensive understanding of referral pathways.

- Manage requests for medical reports and/or copies of patient records.

- Guarantee that referrals are handled promptly and in alignment with designated pathways, organizational policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades A-C (or equivalent), including English Language, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.

Desirable

  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Familiarity with Emis software.
  • Training in medical terminology.
  • Understanding of NHS operations and primary care.
  • Experience in summarizing medical records.
