Quality Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in the Walsall area. As a Quality Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of millions of consumers, directly contributing to our company's reputation and success in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the QA team to ensure product quality, legality, and safety while meeting customer specifications.
  • Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of Quality Auditors.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and lead third-party audits and customer visits.
  • Coordinate investigations into customer complaints and implement action plans.
  • Support the implementation of a robust food safety culture and quality initiatives on site.

Requirements:

  • Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications (Degree desirable).
  • Experience working with major retailers and leading audits.
  • HACCP and Food Safety qualifications.
  • Internal auditing training.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
