Domestic Services Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Services Team Manager to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day domestic work is carried out effectively by the domestic team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and reorganize the work of team members, taking into account unforeseen circumstances and sickness absence.
- Assist and provide a full cleaning service to sterile areas, offices, and departments in accordance with work schedules and activity within the area.
- Ensure the team adheres to infection control, Health and Safety, and COSHH policies.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and work without direct supervision.

- NVQ 3 Cleaning or equivalent experience of managing/supervising a team in this work area.
- Experience of supervising domestic staff in a hospital/care setting.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning methods and protocols.
- Demonstrates ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and to work without direct supervision.
- Previous domestic experience in a hospital/care setting.
- Basic IT/keyboard skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of infection control, Health and Safety, and COSHH policies.
- Experience of working in a team and independently.
