Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Biscovey Academy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position, working 17.5 hours per week, term time plus 2 INSET days. You will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students, assisting with lesson planning, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson delivery and student engagement
  • Help students with their learning, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Contribute to the development of lesson plans and educational resources
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and data entry
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
