About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the team to achieve optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a planned preventative maintenance and inspection programme to minimize downtime and ensure high operational availability.
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties.
  • Manage and control plant maintenance, spares, and consumable costs in line with budget, ensuring critical stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies, processes, and procedures, including health and safety and environmental legislation.
  • Review maintenance activities and implement necessary corrective actions as required.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Previous leadership experience
  • CMMS experience
  • Budget/P&L management skills
