About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Bank Dementia Enhanced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Bank Dementia Enhanced Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to patients living with dementia, including physical and emotional support.
  • Work collaboratively with the Admiral Nurse-led Dementia Team to deliver effective care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in dementia care.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in dementia care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
