Search is seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join their innovative and growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate multiple task requirements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Supervise site work, including setting out and ensuring compliance with contracting principles.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders, liaise with clients and statutory bodies, and provide accurate progress updates to line managers.
- Prepare and issue job instructions, conduct regular site visits, and ensure the accuracy of "as-Built" drawings.
- Collaborate with the QHSE Systems Manager to promote a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance throughout the company.
- Assist in assessing risk and producing relevant RAMS, as well as requisitioning materials as required.
- Support the Quantity Surveyor in ensuring projects are fully measured and valued, and handle employee issues within the team.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering, with a strong understanding of contracting principles and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to think strategically and assist in problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commercial awareness and flexibility to work in challenging conditions.
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence, SSSTS/SMSTS Card, and CPCS Card.
