Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Leeds College of Building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply paint and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish.
- Use a variety of techniques and tools to achieve the desired effect, including brushing, rolling, and spraying.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces to complete tasks efficiently.
- Measure and calculate quantities of materials needed for each job.
- Follow instructions and guidelines to ensure high-quality work.
Requirements:
- Good GCSEs in mathematics and other relevant subjects.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in painting and decorating.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical fitness and stamina to complete tasks.
Salary:
Newly trained painter and decorators can earn £17,000 - £20,000 per year.
Trained painter and decorators with more experience can earn £20,000 - £30,000 per year.
Senior/master painter and decorators can earn £30,000 - £50,000 per year.
Self-employed painter and decorators set their own pay rates.
