Job Title: Procurement Transformation Lead

Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 base + £6,000 car allowance + bonus + a further strong benefits package

Sea Global is partnering with a leading Financial Services Group to lead the transformation of their procurement function. As Procurement Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the current state of procurement by reviewing the operating model
  • Support the creation of a business case to compare the current state with a fit for purpose solution
  • Develop and implement a procurement transformation strategy, including staffing, processes, and systems
  • Analyse current processes, design and implement new procurement processes and systems
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Select and integrate new procurement technologies and tools
  • Identify and mitigate risks, including contract management and supplier performance monitoring
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading transformational business process reengineering and change management
  • Excellent understanding of procurement policies and procedures
  • Proven experience of contract management and negotiating terms
  • Ideal knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements related to procurement activities
  • Strong communication skills and influencing senior management
  • Ideal degree and MCIPS qualification
