Job Summary:

The GBA5 EntServ UK Limited team is seeking a highly skilled ACII Classroom Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, implementing, and supporting changes within the ACII Classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the ACII Classroom environment.
  • Provide technical support to our internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage and maintain specialized classroom environments for BOWMAN radio training, Virtual Battlefield Simulation, and other training modules.
  • Oversee the network infrastructure consisting of around 150 servers and 4500 workstations across multiple sites, with expansion expected in the near future.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with SCCM, Wintel, and Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016.
  • Hands-on knowledge of procedures used in installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of IT hardware and software.
  • System roll-out experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of network and systems administration principles.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with HPE Proliant hardware.

Security Clearance:

This role requires security clearance. Applicants must be British Citizens who have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years.
