As a Sewage Treatment Process Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our wastewater treatment facilities. Your expertise will support our teams in ensuring optimal process performance and maintaining asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance at sewage treatment locations, focusing on process efficiency and asset resilience.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at maximizing asset availability, ensuring process integrity, and managing energy and chemical consumption.
- Utilize your knowledge of wastewater treatment to minimize operational costs while adhering to compliance standards.
- Engage with various projects, assisting in their successful execution and facilitating the integration of both temporary and permanent solutions.
- Directly impact the strategic objectives of the wastewater operations by promoting waste reduction and enhancing operational practices.
- Leverage your technical skills to advise and influence operational teams, project managers, and procurement departments.
Location and Work Schedule
This position offers flexibility in base locations within the operational areas, primarily requiring site visits across our facilities. The work schedule consists of 36 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
Candidate Requirements
- A background in a relevant scientific or engineering field such as Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Wastewater Engineering.
- Experience in wastewater management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience in process assessment, recovery, and impact analysis.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in an industrial process environment.
- Competence in stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
Benefits
- Attractive salary range between £39,200 - £50,000 per annum.
- Annual car allowance of £4,500.
- 26 days of annual leave, increasing to 30 with tenure, in addition to bank holidays.
