Policy and Public Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Advisor to join our team at Membership Bespoke.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide dedicated support across the Policy and Public Affairs function, including coordinating stakeholder engagement, proactive horizon scanning, and administrative support to the Policy and Public Affairs team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.
- Proactively identify and exploit opportunities for the Institute to advise key decision makers and policymakers on policy development.
- Provide coordination and administrative support to the Policy and Public Affairs team.
- Coordinate Policy and Public Affairs content for the General newsletter and other member communication channels.
- Provide secretariat support to the team's strategic oversight committee.
- Develop a strong understanding of key social and policy issues, such as climate change, retirement savings, artificial intelligence, and health and social care.
- Utilize excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
