**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Educational British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter to join our team at Walsall College. As a BSL Interpreter, you will play a vital role in providing support for staff and students in a professional educational setting.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Interpret for students with various communication needs on courses ranging from Entry Level to Higher Education Level across a wide range of subjects.
  • Provide interpretation services for D/deaf staff in staff meetings and during additional events such as Out of College Activities, Award Ceremonies, and Open Days.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and support for students and staff.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a minimum CACDP/Signature Level 3 or equivalent in BSL.
  • Commitment to progressing skills to a higher level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
