We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Dudley, working with older adults. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals, including CPNs, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists, to provide high-quality care to patients in the community and on in-patient wards.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and expertise in old age psychiatry
  • Developing and implementing care plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participating in medical management and research opportunities
  • Teaching and training postgraduate psychiatric and GP trainees, as well as undergraduates
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GMC registration
