Role Overview:

As a Lead Information Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our information assets. Your expertise will ensure adherence to IT Security Policies and Procedures while providing strategic guidance on security controls and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guaranteeing compliance with established IT Security Policies and Procedures
  • Offering specialized advice on information security mechanisms and frameworks
  • Creating and updating documentation in accordance with ISO27001 and client security protocols
  • Overseeing information security audits and assessments
  • Managing security incidents and facilitating post-incident reviews
  • Delivering training and promoting security awareness among staff
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address security requirements
  • Ensuring the accreditation of critical systems within the contract

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Information Security
  • CISM certification or an equivalent qualification
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and HMG security protocols
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
