About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Procurement Manager to lead our frozen fish procurement operations. As Head of Fish Procurement, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of frozen fish at the lowest cost for our Mauritian processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing decisions to maximize the utilization of our logistical operations.
  • Manage the procurement of frozen tuna, including technical specifications and pricing.
  • Contract, plan, organize, and deliver tuna raw material purchasing functions in close liaison with the management team in Mauritius.
  • Develop and maintain key supplier partnerships to drive long-term sustainable value across the supply chain.
  • Manage procedures to identify and mitigate supply risk.
  • Provide market intelligence and disseminate relevant information to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Senior level procurement experience in the seafood industry.
  • International supply chain and/or operations expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement processes and frameworks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate closely with key personnel in the PTM local management team.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP analytics & reporting.
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas.
