Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tool Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ASC Connections Ltd. As a Tool Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plastic injection mould tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of plastic injection mould tools to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Preparation of tooling for production, including setting up and testing equipment.
  • Assisting with new mould introduction, including training and support for production staff.
  • Fault finding and identification of issues with moulds already in production, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth tooling operations and efficient production processes.

Requirements:

  • Time-served toolmaker with experience in a similar role and good knowledge of injection mould tooling.
  • Good understanding of tool design and CAD/CAM manufacturing processes.
  • Exposure to condition setting and maintenance best practices.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
