Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gloucester. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving equipment failures, performing routine maintenance tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns using good engineering practices and technical knowledge.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance routines and equipment inspections.
  • Liaise with engineering teams to identify and resolve long-term engineering issues.
  • Locate and obtain spare parts using our maintenance management system.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to prevent equipment failures.
  • Record work carried out and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
