We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance Team at Reed. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our customer relationships and ensuring timely payments.
Key Responsibilities- Payment Management: Ensure payments are made to agreed terms and maintain a clean debtor ledger.
- Cash Allocation: Allocate cash received daily and handle associated queries in a timely manner.
- Invoice Processing: Post manual and automated invoices to the ledger.
- Debt Recovery: Run and review aged debtors and debtor reporting, chase payment via various methods, and communicate with sales and customer service teams to resolve invoice queries.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce payment information, graphs, and analysis as requested.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in credit control and sales ledger administration.
- Strong Communication: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Numerical and Analytical: Numerical and analytical proficiency.
- Organizational Skills: Organized and able to manage time effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Skills: Experience with financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
