Senior Manager, Account Management

Key Responsibilities- Utilize internal forecast databases and retailer EPOS systems to deliver accurate forecasts and period sign-offs. Evaluate period performance and variance at each Demand Review in conjunction with financial outlook.
- Consolidate full account and product portfolios to understand holistic demand views in line with financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with external retail supply chain and buying personnel to ensure solid performance. Key internal daily contacts include Accounts, Customer Service, and Production Planning teams. Close interaction with Marketing, Finance, and Logistics will also be integral to the role.
- Continuously monitor and communicate changes in demand to Supply and Commercial functions at the appropriate level of granularity (category/product group/SKU).
- Participate in the monthly S&OP process, providing key information to facilitate discussions and recommendations on strategic areas such as inventory management.
- Develop and maintain documentation of new Demand Planning processes and systems, and provide training for their deployment.
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate data trends, consumer behavior, and continuity of supply as it pertains to supply chain logistics and service.
- Provide analysis on long stock cover SKUs, offering recommendations on how to improve stock rotation.
- Challenge team performance and cross-functional conclusions to validate forecast robustness.
- Help develop key metrics that drive improvement in forecast accuracy.
- Periodically review safety stock levels to manage inventory effectively.
Requirements include a graduate degree in a business-related discipline and career-based experience in a similar role. Experience in planning/forecasting in Retail or Manufacturing environments, preferably FMCG, is required. Commercial awareness, excellent reasoning, and analytical skills are essential. The ability to produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data, translating it into meaningful information for senior management, is also crucial.
