Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver lessons and set tasks to students in the absence of the regular class teacher.
  • Classroom Management: Manage the classroom environment, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Student Support: Promote a culture of respect, discipline, and engagement among students.
  • Behaviour Management: Assist with behaviour management and respond appropriately to any challenges or disruptions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and any significant incidents.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons and maintain the continuity of learning.
  • Compliance: Follow school policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all students.
