Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Vehicle Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Vehicle Specialist to join our team at Finning International. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance services to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of their heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of heavy equipment, including oil sampling and visual/mechanical inspections.
  • Identify and repair minor issues, and perform undercarriage inspections.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their maintenance needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related engineering function, such as car mechanics, HGV fitters, or military vehicle maintenance.
  • Formal training in health and safety is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
