Job Title: Sunday Sales Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sunday Sales Assistant in our Hartlepool store. As a Sunday Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality retail service, managing stock, and promoting Gift Aid to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock, including receiving, storing, and displaying merchandise
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues
  • Maximize sales by promoting products and services to customers
  • Maintain the appearance of the shop, including cleaning and tidying
  • Handle and lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs)

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Literate and numerate
  • An effective team player
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of stock
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire regulations
  • Previous experience of working or managing a retail shop (advantageous)
