We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Back End Developer to join our team at RedTech Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Back End Developer, you will be responsible for leading the software development on an exciting and complex upcoming project, mentoring junior developers, and heavily involved in back-end development using a broad range of technologies including JavaScript, and PHP.

About the Role

  • Lead the software development on an exciting and complex upcoming project.
  • Mentor 2 junior developers.
  • Heavy involvement in back-end development using a broad range of technologies including JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Strong experience in software engineering with at least 4 years of experience.
  • Proficient in web technologies and development – ideally JavaScript and related frameworks/technologies.
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
  • Experience mentoring other developers.
  • Great communication skills.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Proficient in web technologies and development – ideally JavaScript and related frameworks/technologies.
  • Strong academics with a 2:1 or 1st class degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering or closely related subject, plus at least ABB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points).
  • Knowledge in web technologies and development – ideally JavaScript and related frameworks/technologies.
  • Ability to quickly pick up new technologies.
  • Experience mentoring other developers.
  • Great communication skills.
