Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimator with a robust background in Building Maintenance Services (BMS) to join our team. This established and forward-thinking construction firm also undertakes planned and reactive maintenance works for a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors, including domestic projects.

Client Portfolio: Our clientele spans social and affordable housing, food production, retail, educational institutions, commercial enterprises, industrial facilities, healthcare, and both public and private sectors.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver precise, competitive, and margin-focused tendering for BMS projects ranging from small-scale to significant investments.
• Manage a variety of new construction and refurbishment projects tailored to diverse customer needs.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and conduct thorough analysis to enhance value, profit margins, and revenue management.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets, estimates, forecasts, and construction cost plans.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimation, with extensive experience in both refurbishment and new build projects across various sectors.

Essential Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations, particularly CDM 2015.
• Familiarity with modern construction methodologies and contractual awareness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Project, and Excel.
• Experience with estimating software packages.

Qualifications: A qualification such as HNC, Diploma, or Degree in a construction-related field is advantageous, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
