We are seeking an experienced Music Teacher to join our Education Services team in Paisley. The successful candidate will be a flexible, forward-thinking professional who uses initiative and is dedicated to inspiring the children and young people in our care, ensuring the highest quality of learning and teaching experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver music education programs for children and young people with additional support needs.
- Use initiative and creativity to engage and enthuse often reluctant learners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a comprehensive education service.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the GTC (Scotland).
- Recognised teaching qualification specific to Secondary Education.
- Clear commitment to continuing professional development.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivate, encourage, and support others.
- Make effective use of time, personnel, and resources.
- Aptitude for decision making and acting on initiative.
