We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Accountant to join our team at Southgates Chartered Certified Accountants. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, ensuring their financial needs are met with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a portfolio of clients with a range of accounting services, including financial statement preparation, tax returns, and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures.
- Build positive relationships with clients, addressing their queries promptly and providing exceptional customer service.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and support as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to work.
Requirements:
- Qualified or part-qualified through AAT/ACA/ACCA or equivalent, with at least three years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Practical experience of undertaking tax and year-end accounts work, with confidence in working with relevant software, Excel, and communicating with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Diligent in reporting, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and career development.
