Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned Systems Modelling Engineer with a strong background in team leadership. You will be responsible for steering the development and execution of system capabilities, utilizing model-based systems engineering methodologies to refine designs and meet the performance standards required for missile seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing MATLAB and Simulink for modelling through model-based design methodologies.
  • Managing a sophisticated Seeker model that simulates the RF environment, hardware, and processing algorithms.
  • Overseeing task packages and managing their execution.
  • Developing algorithms within the modelling framework.
  • Producing and validating auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model.
  • Conducting system studies and performance evaluations.
  • Owning processes and deliverables related to modelling.
  • Facilitating team growth in modelling techniques and algorithm development.
  • Evaluating system performance through models against established requirements.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, along with substantial experience in:

  • Modelling and coding, particularly with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Verification & Validation, configuration management, and model release protocols.
  • Team leadership and personnel management.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Data analysis and technical documentation.

Additional advantageous experience includes:

  • Understanding of RF systems and digital signal processing.
  • Expertise in algorithm development.
