Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Criminal Duty Solicitor to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the criminal defense process, taking on responsibilities that include advising clients during police station consultations and providing steadfast representation throughout court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and options during police station consultations
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and sentencing hearings
• Conduct thorough investigations into criminal allegations and gather evidence
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with changes in criminal law and procedure

Requirements:

• Relevant legal qualifications, such as a law degree or equivalent
• Proven track record in criminal defense, including experience in court proceedings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
