About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our reputable Employer in South Gloucester. This full-time, term-time only position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Assist with care needs and positive behaviour support, adopting an individualized approach.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver high-quality, engaging educational activities.
  • Create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all pupils.
Criteria
  • Experience working with pupils in an SEN setting.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car.
  • Fully funded Teaching Assistant training available.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is desirable.
  • A passion for working with young people is essential.
  • Ability to build trust and act as a fantastic advocate for the children.
