Job Summary

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis - Industry is responsible for the strategic and tactical financial planning and analysis of the Industry Business Segment. This role leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the respective Business Units. The successful candidate will coordinate the Segment's finance team in all aspects of Revenue Recognition and Financial Planning and Analysis processes. As a financial business partner to divisional leadership, this role is responsible for M&A activities and applicable integration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain financial models and perform scenario analytics to support investment decisions and other strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate FP&A related tasks for rolling and period-based forecasting & budgeting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, corporate guidelines and policies.
  • Revenue Recognition and Billing:
  • Oversee processes for revenue recognition and billing following applicable guidelines/regulations (domestic and international).
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting and analysis for period end financial results.
  • Reviews analytical results, develops insight suggestions for investment & key metric improvement.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Develop and manage a highly motivated and capable team, driving a performance management culture through continuous improvement.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions:
  • Support M&A and subsequent post-merger integration projects.
  • Divisional Support:
  • Ad hoc support of Divisional and Regional Leadership.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred;
  • 10 years experience in FP&A leadership role.
  • Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and abstract reasoning skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead functional teams;
