Job Title: Deputy Principal: Leader of Learning and Curriculum Development
Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious leader to join our Senior Leadership Team at Prebbleton School. As Deputy Principal: Leader of Learning and Curriculum Development, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational direction of our school and ensuring the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead curriculum development schoolwide for Years 0-8, with a focus on pedagogical expertise and excellent teaching practices.
- Provide leadership for the school's pastoral care and learning support areas, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Champion and model culturally responsive practices and staff te reo journey.
- Grow and empower our teaching team through collaborative teaching practices and professional development opportunities.
- Embody our school's vision to 'Create, Think, Grow' and promote a sense of hauora throughout the school community.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in education, with a strong track record of improving student outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively, with a passion for continuous improvement and excellence.
